NATIONAL GEOGRAPHIC’S INSIDE SCOOP ON DOUG & DAVE

I am sorry to learn of the new depths by the media 'entertainers' which they have now become both sides of the Atlantic,and I am particularly sorry for the embarrassment suffered by Lucy herself.

I wanted to remind you and your mailing list of the past dirty tricks put together and transmitted around the world by „National Geographic“.  They HAVE produced some excellent programs on various topics over the years and have a good reputation which in my view is not-generally deserved. One expects high quality and well researched material but my own experience with them is that the crop circles have never been served well by them. This regrettably is NOT the first time they have scooped into the gutter with this topic.

It is not generally known publically that this organization had the 'inside scoop' on Doug and Dave before the public read that famous claim via the Today National newspaper in Britain.  People at „National Geographic“ told one of my own contacts in the UK government that French Intelligence informed „National Geographic“ about the „Today“ national newspaper story being prepared on Doug Bowers and Dave Chorley during the week the newspaper spent with them.  This even before, the newspaper printed the results (9th September 1991) of the week long investigation.

Before the „Today“ newspaper sent out their own journalist, Graham Brough to see Doug and Dave and offer them the contract payments, as if knowing what lay ahead, „National Geographic“ flew over a team to spend a week in England with Pat Delgado, Dr. Terence Meaden and myself, to make the first of their documentaries.  Like Lucy Pringle, we were also told that this was to be a serious scientific on-site investigation and would be fairly presented.  This material was edited and ready to go as soon as the Doug and Dave announcement was made in September that year. 



The transmitted program was a disgrace and made each of us look like clowns.  A strange voice was used by the presenter throughout and the voice-over's sounded like weird echo chamber effects from 'Doctor Who' or Startrek.  The prgram was deliberately manufactured for effect, to make the subject and us look like a joke.

One has to ask who really funds this organization and what is the purpose of such programs?  They have in-fact a very bad reputation for when it comes to the facts.  What they transmit is NOT what the public want to see but what some western governments would want the public to see. 

Yes, this does sound like conspiracy thinking but it makes more logical sense than the explanation given by the company itself. What we see unveiling in the world today leaves one wondering why history is recorded by the loudest voices.  For the true facts and the true history one has to ask the losers.  If people of substance and caring don't get up and fight their corner soon, we will suffer the consequences.  It isn't just crop circles in trouble when it comes to the truth these days.

Just for the record, the second documentary made by National Geographic Explorer and aired on the 4th December, 2004, used footage secured by John Macnish at 'Circlevision' of Doug and Dave making circles. This sequence was said in the film to have been filmed undercover and without Doug and Dave's knowledge.  I have 100% evidence from that company that Doug and Dave were paid to make that 'undercover' circle and in fact were taken to the field to make it by the production staff at 'Circlevision'. The very staff at Circlevision who then filmed them and sold the footage to National Geographic, WHO KNEW it was a fabrication.

Yes its a messy web of deception and lies and all from the so called highly reputable National Geographic. Not bad for just one companies treatment of one subject.



Now 25 years after my own research began, the core of the crop circle phenomenon has been missed by many. For sure the 'interactive nature of it is something no media I know are capable of doing the real story justice.  My hope and my belief that the new movie currently being developed, 'Circular Evidence' will attempt to do so, but for the movie theater.  Here is hoping.

It is my belief that Human Consciousness is poised to grow and move in a new and wonderful direction, IF we can rid ourselves of the deception and the worst of the past. I have faith the good people will win through.
