Am Morgen des 9. Juni 2006 wurde in einem Feld bei Vrhovljan in der Region Medimurj im Norden Koratiens eine kleine, T-förmige Kornkreisformation in einem Weizenfeld entdeckt und sorgte vor Ort für großes Interesse, welches auch von den Medien (RTL-Kroatien) in der Nachrichtensendung "RTL-Vijesti" aufgegriffen wurde, die über die Formation berichteten.

Anwohner wollen in der fraglichen Enstehungsnacht merkwürdige Geräusche gehört ahben. ebenso beschrieben viele, dass sich die Tiere vor Ort in dieser Nacht auffallend merkwürdig verhalten hätten.

Seither kommen zahlreiche weitere Besucher in den Touristenort um die Formation zu sehen – Ein Schild Wegweiser zeigt den auch den Weg Richtung „.UFO“ und macht zugleich deutlich, womit sich die Menschen vor Ort die Kornkreisformation erklären.

Wenige Tage später wurde nun im Nachbardorf eine weitere Kornkreisformation entdeckt.
Die neue Formation zeigte ein ganz ähnliches Muster...xxx

On June 9, 2006, a small T-shaped crop circle formation was discovered in a field of wheat at Vrhovljan in the Medimurj region in northern Croatia.

Since it was discovered the field attracts many visitors and a sign giving direction to the „.UFO“ not only leads the visitor to the spot but also tells what the local people in the tourist village are thinking is responsible for the crop circle formation.

Local residents reported strange and loud noises in the night the formation must have formed. Also reported was a starneg behaviour of the local animals.
